Mark McGwire Undressed in Front of Helen Hunt in a 1999 'Mad About You' Cameo

data-mm-id=”_uqexht85z”>Mark McGwire is an American folk hero. There's really no other way to put it. He is permanently embedded in our national conscious as the man who, while in a heated race with Sammy Sosa, broke Roger Maris' single season home run record in the summer of 1998. Whether or not he is ever put in the Hall of Fame or officially recognized for hitting the 11th-most home runs in baseball history doesn't really matter. McGwire played from 1986 to 2001. He was Rookie of the Year, a 12-time All-Star, won a Gold Glove, three Silver Sluggers, and even got a World Series ring when he was a member of the Bash Brothers. McGwire may not have been the best player in the 90's but he was a living legend. And the same can be said about NBC's Mad About You, wh…

Zack Hample Booed After Catching Home Run at Angels-White Sox Game

data-mm-id=”_lcudro4ij”>Zack Hample, the greatest ballhawk to ever walk the face of the Earth, added to his Hall of Fame That Doesn't Exist legacy last night by perfectly situating himself to catch Taylor Ward's first-inning home run at the Los Angeles Angels-Chicago White Sox game. He continues to add to his total of baseballs snagged, which is over 12,000 at this point. For context, that's almost three times the amount of base hits Pete Rose managed to collect. Makes you think! But some people simply cannot stand one person having all the nice things. Check out the crowd reaction after Hample's latest feat. There are more than a few boo birds.Zach Hample at it again 🤣pic.twitter.com/6eGg97Ytk7— The Game Day MLB (@TheGameDayMLB) May 31, 2023Taylor Ward…

Jordan Poole's Latest Lowlight in Slow Motion is a Thing of Beauty

data-mm-id=”_htu3ofmcz”>Jordan Poole played one of his best games of the season on Friday night in a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Poole scored 26 points on 9-of-20 shooting to go along with a season-high seven assists and just two turnovers. The one place he struggled was from three-point land where he made just one of six attempts including this one where he spun away from a defender and around a pick to fire an off-balance shot that sailed past the rim and hit the backboard. While this took place on Black Friday, someone put it in slow motion so that it would be preserved in all its beauty and most importantly would not be forgotten on what will be a Milton Berle-esque compilation of Poole's highlights from his first year with the Wizards. Jesus Super Bowl Commercial Results in Lots of Foot Fetish Tweets

data-mm-id=”_yauerl564″>The biggest audience of the year tuned in to watch Super Bowl LVIII on CBS. We don't know exactly how many people tuned in to see Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers just yet, but we do know a lot of them were excited to watch some commercials that weren't released on YouTube during the days leading up to the game. It's unclear how many of those people were excited to see a minute-long commercial about how Jesus washed people's feet. Though it certainly made an impression.finally,,, a foot fetish Super Bowl ad— Kat Abu (@abughazalehkat) February 11, 2024When you see the Jesus washed feet commercial pic.twitter.com/OTRElI3uI7— Bunkie Perkins (@BunkiePerkins) February 11, 2024They made a Jesus commercial for foo…

MLB Considers Another Drastic Rule Change for Starting Pitchers

data-mm-id=”_2tjk4aurm”>Major League Baseball implemented the pitch clock last year to shorten the length of games, and the new rule worked immediately. The average time of a nine-inning game decreased by 24 minutes to two hours, 40 minutes in 2023. This year, it has dropped to two hours, 36 minutes.Commissioner Rob Manfred's MLB makeover is far from complete, apparently. Now that the league has successfully sped up the action on the field, it now wants to extend the amount of time starting pitchers spend on the mound. According to ESPN, the commissioner's office is considering a six-inning minimum for starters with the purpose of "restoring the prominence of the starting pitcher and reducing the prevalence of pitching injuries."Baseball's analytics revolution c…

The NBA could establish an expansion team outside the US

data-mm-id=”_7jiavu519″>An NBA team in Mexico City? It's a possibility. While many people think the NBA will expand to Seattle and Las Vegas, the capital city of Mexico is not out of the question. An ESPN article posted Tuesday floated the idea of the NBA putting a team in Mexico City. The league has played 33 regular season games there since 1992, the most outside of the US and Canada. The Mexico City Capitanes already play in the NBA's G League, although they aren't affiliated with a big league team. The idea is that a team in Mexico City would allow the league to tap into Latin and South American markets. The Capitanes have played in Mexico City Arena, which has a capacity of 22,300, since it joined the G League in 2022. The NBA already has a G League affiliate in Mex…
